all my name is Rob, and I needed a 350 Chevy Engine for my
Silverado.

I
Wanted A New Engine
I checked
with my local shops and was going to go with a rebuilt engine,
but I found out pretty fast that most shops quoted me very
high prices for this, and I still wouldn't have a new
engine. I decided that I wanted a new engine and not a rebuilt
one. I did some online research and found a website that had
a wide array of engines. The site was Dirtsmart.com.
After
I logged onto Dirtsmart.com I contacted the guys over there,
and I was very happy with the service they gave me. My main
concern with buying from a shop I wasn't familiar with was
that I wanted to know how much experience these guys had.
I mean
I don't want to buy an egine from two guys slapping them together
in their garage on a Friday night!
I asked
the guys over at Dirtsmart how long their engine builders
had been building engines and was shocked that the engine
builders had been building quality engines since 1969!
That is
a long time and the fact that they were still putting engines
out there after that many years really said a lot to me about
the quality of their products.

The guys at Dirtsmart.com take building custom engines very
seriously. They custom build all engines for each customer!!!!!!
I quickly found out that this isn't some cookie cutter operation
where they quickly pump them out. They should sign each engine!
They are that good.

A
little while after I placed my order for a new engine I got
an e-mail from them. Imagine my shock when I discovered it
was pictures of my engine! It was in process and they e-mailed
me all during the process with pictures. I felt like my wife
was pregnant with our third child, and I was getting sonogram
pictures of my baby! It was so awesome.
With each new e-mail I got more and more pumped about my engine
and then the big day came. My engine was delivered to my house,
and it came with this really cool forklift thing that allowed
me to move it right from the truck into my garage. I have
never had such a pleasant experience with a company before.
My
engine looked awesome, but even more importantly it performs
awesome! I really couldn't be happier. I have told all of
my bud's that when they need a new engine there really is
no other place to go than Dirtsmart.
